
Cattail Bob Seebeck has been conducting outdoor education classes in the Rockies since 1975.
His diverse background includes training and expertise in survival, emergency services,
photography, botany, backcountry guiding, mountain gardening and residential construction.
Cattail Bob has made appearances on the Today show as well as various local media. He is also the author of "Best Tasting Wild Plants of Colorado and the Rockies" and "Wild Plants of the Pikes Peak Region"
Cattail Bob has built three mountain homes, doing virtually all of the work himself. His third project was a 1500 square feet passive solar home for under $40,000 in 2001, built in about 1600 hours.
Cattail Bob has worked and taught with the National Park Service, United States Air Force Academy, Denver Botanical Gardens, Garden of the Gods, Lory and Roxborough State Parks, Colorado State University, University of Wyoming, Red Rocks, Aims Community College, Front Range and Laramie County Community Colleges, Colorado Mountain College, Florissant Fossil Beds, Public School Systems, City Of Denver, The National Rifle Association, various Scout Troops, The Society of Conservation Biology, The Pikes Peak Mycological Society, Naropa Institute, The Sierra Club, various Teaching Unions, libraries museums and many, many more!
